The main role of the HR Applications Analyst is to deliver solutions within the SAP On-Prem Human Resources (HR/ HCM), Success Factors and other Cloud based solutions as well as deliver integration points to the business specifications and corporate standards and provide support for new and existing applications within HR / HCM application area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for managing various projects, delivering solutions, handling of incident and work orders to provide application support for end users in the HR application functional area Globally.
- Work with business customers to gather requirements, to determine and analyze the best solution for the business. Determine and communicate best practices. Work to ensure accurate system master data and transactional data.
- Work with stake holders to create a project, manage and communicate the status of the project. Follow corporate Project methodologies (that are PMI based) and comply with PMO procedures and KPIs. Monitor timelines for the multiple projects, preventing potential delays and/or informing project sponsors following escalation procedures
- Responsible for technical documentation for enhancements and configuration of the SAP HR application area and ensure systems are maintained according to corporate guidelines and specifications
- Work closely with global key users, business partners, IT colleagues located in various locations globally including Shared service centers, Development centers based out of locations in NA, SA, EMEA & APAC, Support staff and colleagues located in locations in EU & MX to configure, test, maintain and support SAPHR systems and processes
- Part of Global Workforce Tower based in US supporting processes, projects that include US but can direct SSC resources in support for other global locations.
- Assess impact of new SAP/ SF functionality to current system landscape, deployed solutions in various countries / locations and plan projects / templates for various solutions as well as assist production support teams in deploying such template solutions.
- Documentation of the settings and preparation of guidelines and technical specifications that allow other consultants to further change, repair or enhance system.
- Participate on the Change Approval Board (CAB) meetings to review new requirements, approvals or issues with projects and Comply with the PMO KPI’s and Procedures
- Suggest improvements and foster their development and implementation and keep internal customers informed about SAP application issues and resolutions
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and five to eight years related experience. SAP certifications in the functional area are not required and can be substituted for 2/3 years of experience. Knowledge in the following systems functionality:
- 7+ years SAP ECC Human Resources module, SAP SuccessFactors – any 2 modules
- Excellent Experience in HR modules – PT, PY and Integration to manufacturing sector.
- Intermediate Experience in HR modules – OM, PA, ESS/MSS, SF – Goals, Compensation
- Good to have ABAP programming, debugging, Web Dynpro and FIORI applications
- Training/Certification in SAP and ABAP is preferred
- Training / Certification in SF required
- 5+ years Project management experience, PMI Certification nice to have
